Problem

Property intelligence products combine listing, ownership, sale-history, valuation, photo, and map signals that can disagree with each other.

A good internal UI should make conflicts obvious, preserve evidence, and help an operator decide what needs follow-up without feeling like a dashboard toy.

Scope

Build a usable frontend review workspace as the first screen.
Render property header context plus at least 6 mock signals across multiple categories.
Include conflict/anomaly states, filtering or segmented controls, and a source/evidence detail panel.
Support review actions such as `Approve`, `Needs follow-up`, and `Dismiss` using local state.
Include loading, empty, error, selected-detail, reviewed, desktop, and mobile states.

Acceptance criteria

Meet every line below and the submission is approved. The $500 bounty is paid, regardless of any internship decision.

Runs from a clean checkout with documented setup and run commands.
Uses realistic mock data only and makes conflicting signals easy to spot.
Provides keyboard-accessible controls and visible focus states.
Avoids layout overlap at common mobile and desktop widths.
Includes screenshots or a screen recording plus a writeup explaining component structure, state model, accessibility checks, and tradeoffs.

Writeup

The artifact is half. The writeup is the other half. Show us how you think.

Explain the operator workflow you optimized for.
Describe component structure and state handling.
Document responsive and accessibility checks.
List what you would improve with another week.

How to submit

Code submissions: fork the tryouts mono-repo, build inside projects/property-insights-review-ui/submissions/<your-handle>/, and open a PR with your code plus a WRITEUP.md.
Non-code submissions (design, ops, data): email talent@getcovent.com with subject Internship Tryout: property-insights-review-ui: <Your Name>. Attach a link to the artifact (repo, live URL, Figma, Notion, video, deck) plus your writeup.
Review: founders read every submission. We respond within 7 days.
