Covent Internship Program

How it works

1. 1. Tryout project

   Pick a project from the list or pitch your own. Ship a working artifact and send it in. We pay $500 USD to anyone whose submission meets the project's acceptance criteria, regardless of what happens next.

2. 2. Paid internship

   Three months of real work alongside engineers, designers, and founders. You own a problem, not tickets. Same tooling, same AI budget, same access to customers and code as full-time staff. Monthly stipend $500 to $1,500 USD, scaled to experience.

3. 3. Part-time, then full-time

   Finish the internship strong, you transition to a part-time role first, then full-time once both sides are ready. The internship is the interview.

Who this is for

Students, new grads, career switchers, self-taught builders. Anyone early in their career who can show exceptional ability, taste, and grit on a real artifact. We hire on output, not credentials.

Why this exists

Resumes lie. Interviews are noisy. The fastest way to know if someone is great is to watch them build something. The fastest way for them to know if Covent is the right fit is to actually do the work.

The $500 bounty

• Every project has clear acceptance criteria. Meet the bar, get paid.
• Uncapped: multiple people can solve the same project and each is paid.
• The bounty is independent of any internship offer.
• We respond within 7 days.
• Payment via Wise (international) or ACH (US) after a W-9 or W-8BEN.
• One bounty per person per project.

Tryout projects

• Polaris Image 2 Photo Intelligence

  Build a lightweight property photo pipeline that turns a full real-estate photo tour into schema-valid JSON with exact photo ID coverage.

  Large · 1 to 2 focused weeks · $500 bounty

• Property Insights Review UI

  Build a polished frontend workspace for reviewing conflicting property intelligence signals with mock data and deterministic states.

  Medium · 3 to 5 focused days · $500 bounty

• Photo Intelligence Full-Stack Demo

  Build an upload-to-analysis demo for property photos with an API, classifier, validation report, and polished output review UI.

  Large · 1 to 2 focused weeks · $500 bounty

Tryout rules

• Public artifact: a repo, live URL, deck, or video walkthrough.
• Sized for 1 to 2 weeks of focused effort.
• Use AI tools. We expect it.
• Include a short writeup: what you decided, what you cut, what you would do next. We care about judgement, not feature count.

Internship terms

• 3 months full-time engagement during the internship window.
• Monthly stipend, scaled to experience.
• Lahore office preferred. Hybrid acceptable. Remote considered for exceptional candidates.
• AI tooling, near-unlimited Codex, founder access. Same as full-time staff.
• 30-day notice either way during the internship.
